Brad Avakian: Oregon's Labor Commissioner

Proud daughter right here.

by Claire Avakian.

I’m glad my dad is running for Secretary of State. Why? Well, today we celebrate the anniversary of the 19th amendment. While some people might think that a woman’s right to vote is an issue of the past, it’s more important than ever.

Just look at twitter:

She’s right – our vote is critical. And it goes beyond just the presidential race.

My dad is running for Secretary of State to expand and protect everyone’s right to vote. Not only that, he’s going to be standing up for equal pay and women’s reproductive health care.

The choice for us “19th amendment people” is clear.

Let’s keep up the grassroots support for my dad! The August 31 deadline to reach our $5,000 fundraising goal is getting closer. Donate $25, $50, $100 or $250 right away!
