Brad Avakian: Oregon's Labor Commissioner

I’m excited about the road ahead.

by Brad Avakian.

Oregonians have long been ahead of the curve. We were the first state to declare Labor Day a holiday, back in 1887. We've led the way on environmental innovation, from protecting our beaches and farm land to our landmark bottle and bicycle bills. Just last year, we became the first in the nation to automatically register voters, making it easier to participate in our democracy.

Help me continue that tradition: chip right now and join me in fighting for our progressive priorities.

We’re building a movement with you at the center of it. My focus is, as it has always been, on improving people's lives. The road ahead is full of opportunities. We’ll fight to modernize Oregon's workplaces so that everyone's treated fairly. And I’ll use every tool I can to build a clean energy future, to protect the land and open space that is our heritage, and to ensure a healthier environment for future generations.

I’m running for Secretary of State to stand up for our progressive priorities, and to take on the issues that matter most to Oregonians. Together, we can do this.
