Off to the races
My campaign for Labor Commissioner is off to the races - and we've been busy!
On June 10th, we officially launched the campaign in front of a great crowd in Beaverton. The grassroots energy in the room was palpable, with nearly 100 supporters and a dozen other elected officials in attendance. I look forward to working with this dedicated group of Oregonians all the way to November.
Since then, we've been hitting the trail. One of the highlights for me so far was just a few days ago, when I was at the Portland Pride Festival with many supporters, neighbors, and loved ones. I marched with my good friends, the Multnomah County Democrats - it was an amazing time!
Check out some of the pictures from these two big events below.

I'm sure there are going to be a number of stories to tell as I continue to campaign across Oregon.
Join me on Facebook today - stay in touch with my campaign as we hit the trail and travel the state, and as I share my ideas about how we can get Oregonians back to work, rebuild our economy, and stand up for the middle class.
I look forward to seeing you out there.
Thanks,
Brad Avakian
